Museum Pass Guidelines

A reserved pass may be picked up at the Library front desk on the DAY OF USE, from 10 AM Monday, Tuesday, from 1 PM Wednesday, from 10 AM Thursday, Friday & Saturday, from 1 PM Sunday. You may call the Library after 3 PM the day before and, if the pass is in, you can pick it up that evening before Library closing.

Who can reserve a pass?  You will need a valid Lambertville Free Public Library card to make a reservation. Your account must be in good standing with no outstanding fees or overdue materials.
Is there a charge to reserve a pass?  There is no charge to borrow a museum pass.
How many passes can I reserve a day/a month?  One museum pass can be reserved per day per household per month. Each museum can be reserved one time per month, and up to five different museums can be reserved in a calendar month.
How far in advance can I reserve a pass?  Reservations can be made up to 90 days in advance.
What is the "Day of Use"?  "Day of use" is the day you plan to visiting the museum. Passes may be picked up beginning at 10 AM of the "Day of Use" (1 PM on Wednesday**) and MUST be returned by 10 AM the day after the "Day of Use;" i.e. if the "Day of Use" is Thursday, the pass can be picked up beginning at 10 AM on Thursday and returned by 10 AM on Friday. It can be put in the bookdrop. **Patrons wishing to use a pass on a Wednesday may check with the Library AFTER 6 PM on Tuesday and if the pass is in, they may pick it up before closing at 9 PM
What is a "No show"?  If you do not pick up your pass by the "Day of Use" it will constitute a "No Show".
If the reservation is canceled the day before or the day of the "Day of Use" it will also be considered a "No Show".
Because demand for passes is extremely high, two "no shows" in a 60 day period may result in a 2 month block on museum pass reservations.
Can I cancel my reservations?  Reservations can be canceled up to two days before the "Day of Use".

Do I need my Library card to pick up the pass?  Yes, you will need to present the Library card that you used when reserving the pass to pick it up.
Where do I return my pass?  Return all passes by 10 AM after the Day of Use -- (i.e. if the "Day of Use" is Friday, return the pass by Saturday 10 AM).
Passes need to be returned on time so others may use them. Our museum partners will not accept a letter in lieu of a missing pass. Thank you for your consideration of others who are waiting to use the pass.
